Two firmware updates landed this month:

7.8.0 (Aug 6, 2026):

  • New Inverse3_dryrun build target with DRYRUN motor guards — useful for testing without driving the motors.
  • Inkwell calibration notifications across device variants.
  • Fixes to byte-availability handling in data transmission and safety-EEPROM packet processing.

7.8.1 (Aug 25, 2026):

  • Cursor-state response is now transmitted before FOD processing, improving response timing.
